People in sports I can't stand, PART 1

Sasha Vujacic - This European Queen I've seen play defense until the very end of the game. You may say this is what teams need, not me, when the game is a 25 point loss...take it like a man. Carmelo sure did....check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QL1_fXU0n1U

Bruce Bowen - This old man, he plays dirty and i hope he never graduates from college. Constantly sliding his foot under jump shooters, kicking players (See: Chris Paul http://youtube.com/watch?v=hZNwSC_6H90&feature=related)

Dan Marino - I hate everything about him. He Went to PITT and then played for the dolphins. I say this however, he never beat the Bills when it counted...

Final 4 is now in front of us. 4 number 1's as I'm sure you have had heard.
I was really pulling for Stephen Curry to knock off the 2nd most racist looking coach in College Basketball. Only Billy Gillespie looks more racist...

How about Floyd E. Kellams Ryan Zimmerman? Knocked off fellow contributors favorite team, THE ATL BRAVES... I say good riddance.

How about the Lakers Wizards last night... Why doesn't stevenson demand the ball more? Roger mason jr., please get accustomed to the comfy seats on the sideline...cause Nick Young is taking all your minutes

I couldn't keep my eyes off the tv.

For a new link to this: http://idrinksport.com

Been awhile since we posted and I'd love for this to get back into the flow.

There is one team I'd like to say I hate the most right now...and that team is...

DUKE...

Reasons for this.

1. Coach Kreshki - naps during games
2. Kyle Singler - I've seen snowflakes darker than his pigment.
3. fans - I can't stand their fans...let alone their jumping
4. Basketball Arena - Not only is the place a dump, it's old and needs to be torn down.

That will be all.

The AP ALL-AMERICAN TEAMS CAME OUT, usually I do not have a beef with who is picked. Normally if you had a good year you will be on it. And sometimes a player below you will be ahead of you in the teams. And thats fine too but when you do something as ridiculous as put Mike Hart on 2nd team all-american i have a big problem with that. Especially when he is ranked #24th in the nation in rushing. Chris Wells of Ohio state is ranked #10 in the country in yrds. And doesn't even get mentioned in any of the All-American teams. What is the fascination with Hart, he is undersized, gets hurt and doesn't lead his team to victories. You can argue Ohio State was a better offensive team. But that is far from the truth, Michigan had a better QB, better Wide Receivers, Tight Ends. And yet he only ran for 1200 yds, the so called key to Michigan winning. I would say Chris Wells meant more to the Buckeyes than did Hart. Well ran for 200 yds more. Here is the numbers and you decide

NCAA Division I-A Rushing Leaders: 2007

10. Chris Wells, Ohio St 254 attempts 1463 yds 5.8yds per carry 14 Tds

24. Mike Hart, Michigan 233 attempts 1232 yds 5.3 yds per carry 12 Tds

Tressel Ball

For those college football fans that are not fans of Ohio State have a hard time understanding or taking a liking to the way Tressel coaches. Now a days its all about how many passing yards, the big highlight plays, and putting up 40pts per game. Tressel aka Senator Tressel brings back the old school football days. Running the football, playing top 5 Defense and field position. Sure Tressel isn't the flashiest of coaches but he expects execution from his players. And yes sometimes it doesn't work against teams like Florida and Illinois with the spread offense but everybody has their bad days. And I'm sure his record will only improve against those types of teams when he gets more chances to play them.

Since taking over the reins of the Ohio State football team in 2001, Tressel has guided the Buckeyes to an overall record of 73-15, six bowl appearances, including four BCS games(soon to be 5), five 10-win seasons, four Big Ten titles and one national championship. Tressel is 2nd behind Pete Carroll in wins since 2001, Carroll comes in with 65-12 record not counting this year. Carroll has brought 2 Nat'l titles. So to those who hate on the way tressel coaches shouldn't hate because it isn't flashy he does what he has to do to give his players best chance to compete and win.

And to those who hate on the ohio state schedule, they tend to forget past 2 years we have competed against Texas a top 5 program. And have USC on our schedule coming up other top programs play teams well below their level. Look at michigan playing app st, LSU playing tulane, Alabama vs UL Monore. So to all those saying we play a soft schedule we are not the only team in the NCAA that does this. Your goal is to go undefeated and compete for a National Title.
